My Easy Guacamole

I love a good guacamole recipe. For me, simple is best. For this recipe, I like to combine simple, yet flavor-packed ingredients to make a super simple rendition.

I never say no to guac. How could you!? It’s delicious and good for you. Over the years I’ve crafted a few different recipes, however this one is by far my favorite.

Ingredients
2 ripe organic avocados
1 medium-sized clove garlic
1/2 lime, juiced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
drizzle of olive oil

For this recipe, I like to create chunks of avocado instead of mashing it. To do so, simply slide your avocado in half like normal and remove the pit. Then make criss-cross cuts in each half while its still in its skin. Then remove the avocado meat with a fork into a medium sized bowl. Repeat until you have done this to all of your avocados.

Chop the garlic until it is finely minced. Then combine all of the other ingredients in the bowl with the avocado. Mix together gently, careful not to smash the avocado. You might want to add more or less seasoning based on your personal flavor profile preferences.

A simple, delicious take on a traditional recipe.
