The Perfect Morning Bowl
I love a good morning bowl. They’re bright, full of flavor and packed with all the right ingredients to help get your day off to a delicious start.
My mornings tend to consist of anything that I can find thrown together in a blender (insert green / brown looking smoothie here!)
However this is also a favorite lately. It’s so easy and quick to make that I love doing it both during the week and on the weekends. I’ll just throw in any fresh fruit that I have lying around - apples, banana, berries or even kiwis. It’s the perfect balance of protein and carb that help me to stay satisfied.

here’s what you’ll need
1 cup yogurt of choice (I love Siggi’s icelandic yogurt because it’s lower in sugar and a great source of probiotic)
1/4 cup organic blueberries
1/3 honeycrisp apple, sliced thinly
1/4 cup organic oats
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp honey
zest of half a lemon
