I think we’ve all been in the, “ugh, dinner again” phase. I’ve been realllly having a hard time staying inspired to cook everyday.

When I fall into these ruts, I always turn to my cookbook collection for some no-fail inspiration. Cookbooks will always have my heart when it comes to design and visual splendor. Talk about delicious food in a beautiful book? Sign. Me. Up.

Authentico

Such a beautiful read all about traditional methods of simple Italian cooking. I love their heirloom tomato sauce–it’s always a winner in our house for a quick, easy recipe. I created this recipe inspired by it!

The Cooks Atelier

If you’re a fan of rustic French cooking, this one is for you! I swoon over the sweeping photographs of their French kitchen every time I open this beauty. It’s more than just a cookbook–it’s like a soul-feeding visual journey of their take on food.

Cook Beautiful

Athena Calderone’s first book–I turn to this weekly! A lovely and approachable cooking style that lends itself to rustic-style cooking.

malibu farm

An earthy, California-inspired, beautiful take on turning veggies into works of everyday art. Definitely worth a read if you’ve got a fridge full of veggies and zero idea how to pull them all together.

Nothing Fancy

I always turn to this when I’m in need of a good side or sauce inspiration. Her approach on food is really interesting (and kind of funny in a great, refreshing way–I never thought anchovies would get such great PR these days).
