Things of Note: Al fresco

With picnic season upon us–and a very different kind of picnic season at that–I thought I’d round up a few of my favorite pieces for a perfect afternoon al fresco.

There is something so lovely about an afternoon spent outdoors, relaxing, with a crisp, chilled rosé in hand. With such a new way of life upon us, I find it ever-more important to surround myself with pieces that spark joy. The perfect picnic set up is one that is simple–comfy chair, blanket, and a crisp wine. Here are some of my favorite pieces!

We’ve recently been upping our roof-hang equipment and it makes me so happy! I’m choosing pieces that I know will travel well, and also will serve us for years to come. On weekend afternoons, we’ll head up to our roof to catch some much needed sunshine. We’re so fortunate because our roof has cascading views of the bay–including a pristine angle of the Palace of Fine Arts and the Golden Gate Bridge. SO I thought it would really benefit us to invest in a few key pieces that will make our time up there even more special.

Anthro always has great beach towels–I love these!

We recently bought these lawn chairs, but I love the slightly taller version in yellow too!

I love this pitcher! This would be perfect for a chilled cocktail.

I think its needless to say but Scribe has one of my favorite rosés of all time. They’re also having a 2 day shipping event this week so that you can order in time for Memorial Day this weekend!

Happy picnicking!
