Sunday Swoon No. 1

Sundays are best spent gathering inspiration for the week ahead. Sunday Swoon is inspired by Room-Swoon, a beautifully curated collection by Athena Calderone.

I love kicking off my week with a little shared inspo. Starting each Sunday, I’ll publish a list of links, articles, recipes, or objects of desire. To begin this series, I have to shed a little light on where this lovely idea is stemming from. Every week I copy links to things I’m reading / viewing / consuming and jot them down in my notes to examine later when I have more time. I’ve been doing this forever until a few days ago I though it might be more impactful to actually share them out so that others could see them and also enjoy them. Why not spread a little love to all corners of this lovely web? Happy Sunday!

Recipes I’m ❤︎-ing

This salmon recipe from Alison Roman. It looks perfect for spring and SO delish.

Brown Cultured Butter Granola?? Yes. Count me in.

Ok this might not be a recipe, but how delish does this toast look? Need to recreate ASAP.

I absolutely love The Defined Dish – she’s so talented and her recipes are amazing. I really want to try her salmon burger & kale caesar this week!

KaleJunkie is BOMB. I’m sorry for the lack of words but this gal needs no introduction besides the fact that her recipes don’t disappoint. Dying to try these Paleo Pumpkin Zucchini Bars.

How inspiring is this charming villa in the south of France? I’d love to zen out on this adorable patio and nosh al fresco.

I can’t wait for her new book, Live Beautiful – but this is a lovely preview of Athena’s Hamptons home. I love the mixing of materials and woven ceiling! Such a beaut.

Well read

I really enjoyed reading this article on eating intuitively by Molly Alliman. Her perspective on body + mind + food is so refreshing.

style + Living

Bettina Looney is a stylist who I will be forever inspired by. A friend recently showed me her stunning wedding on insta and all I have to say is: goals. She got married in South Africa in Feb and it looked like a dream.

objects of desire

Have you heard of gua sha? I recently got turned on to it…but apparently its a pretty legit holistic alternative to botox. When practiced everyday, it can have noticeable benefits to the lift of your skin.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. THIS desk is on my ultimate dream list. I would love to add it to our living room in the bay window…

Anine has done it again (as always) with this blazer.
