Concept | March '20

As March beings, we notice days becoming slightly longer – with sunshine lingering for a few more minutes each evening. This act, beckons with it more energy, inspiration, and life.

I love the changing of seasons. March has always marked the beginning of early Spring for me. Buds become blossoms, hillsides remain a deep green hue, and a fresh essence hangs on every street corner. Each evening as I walk home from work I have started to notice that a pinkish hue remains over the city – staying later each night. I love this, as its a beginning of a new and fresh season.

On My Mind

This month my primary goal will be focus. I’ve lacked a sense of elevated focus ever since the beginning of the year due to circumstances out of my control. Things have been changing rapidly and it has been difficult to not let that impact me.

I’ve been thinking a great deal recently about lifestyles. A few folks in my life have up and changed their working lifestyles – to seek better balance and harmony with their personal goals. I love this aspect, and am such a believer in making a change for the better by way of personal needs.

I started listening to Athena Calderone’s new podcast, More Than One Thing, and it’s AH-mazing. I love her, and her incredible ability to tell stories through her work. She’s such an inspiration – highly recommend giving her podcast a listen. If you’re looking for some insight into the minds of great creatives, this podcast is for you!

Happenings

This month is always special to me as its a dear friends birthday month! Of course we’ll be doing some celebrating mid-month.
We’re going to see one of my fav bravo stars, Hannah Berner perform at a comedy club – I can’t wait to see her.

Inspired By

I LOVE this print – I want all of Kate’s work.
Dying after this desk from CB2. I just bought their burl console but I’d love to add this to our collection.
Have you seen Crate’s new collab with Leanne Ford? I am obsessed with the sofa – I think we need it asap.
We just started watching this new documentary on Netlix and I love it. I grew up watching F1 with my dad on Sundays so this is so fascinating to me!

Happy March!
