I'm in love with this month. Springtime for me brings in such a gush of fresh air that is much needed. Is it just me, or is everyone in Italy right now? I'm seeing so much designspiration from vine covered villas and tables decorated with melons and prosciutto. Apparently its also "officially" rosé season - which in our household is all year round - but to each is own. Also on that vein - aperol spritz is now one of my all time favs for a casual afternoon sip. I've been crafting a "not so sweet" version that I can't wait to master.
Spending Sunday morning at the farmers market has become a weekly ritual that I look forward to every weekend. I'm not a "stroller" at the market per say - instead an intent-driven crowd dodger who knows her favorite vendors and dutifully returns to them each week. I do love a good casual stroll through a farmers market - but I'm sad to say we're not in the south of France where everyone has the mentality to do the same - we live in the Marina and sometimes you've got to scurry to get the scallions.
