Concept | November
Its going to be a good one.
I’m looking forward to getting deeper into Fall. Crisper mornings, knits, turtlenecks, and cozy gatherings around candle-lit tables. November is always a fast month that seems to pass by almost in the blink of an eye. Its the kickoff to the holiday season and officially the mark of shorter days and darker evenings.
This November I’m trying to be more diligent about timing in particular. As the days grow even shorter - I’m always finding myself in a slump with little energy and lower moods. However I’m hoping to be a bit more proactive about setting schedules and regimens and sticking to them this go around. Exhibit A - getting finances in order, exhibit B - establishing a strong morning routine, exhibit C - regulating my social calendar as to not exhaust myself leading up to and during the holidays. I guess for lack of better words, I’m trying to sculpt a more holistic and self-aware approach to elements of my lifestyle to ensure a strong start to the fast-coming 2019.
I’m excited and a little nervous as we head in to the last few months of 2018. These last few moments of the year (omg) are always slightly melancholic and contemplative for me. Its usually a period of time that I reflect on the past year, and begin to culminate everything I’ve learned and accrued over the past twelve months. I can’t wait to continue creating new traditions, and building upon those we’ve already nurtured.
