Le Weekend | No. 3

crystals, candles, “May I come in” by Wendy Goodman

Warm, sunny, California fall weekend.

Its safe to say that here in northern California we have a more mild fall season than the rest of the country. Our warmer climate is a little more forgiving and we’re lucky to have sun-filled days with maybe a brisk breeze.

This weekend, we drove up to one of our favorite wineries - Scribe, to pick up our fall allocation. It was a beautiful fall day - the perfect weather for sitting outside and enjoying a glass of pinot. The rest of the weekend we spent cozied up with candles burning. I just started reading Busy Phillips’ new book and I’m only a few chapters in but am already hooked. She's an incredible storyteller and a hilarious author.

With daylight savings ending this Sunday, I’m looking forward to getting plenty of rest and sleep. I’ve also stocked up on one of my favorite seasonal candles that we burn all the time because it smells like the holidays. This week I’ll be heading to bed earlier, and giving myself a little more opportunity to catch up with the changing season. Its time for a long candle-lit bath, bone broth, tea and a good book. Have a lovely week!
