What I’m Wearing

Marine Crop Pants
Simon Miller Bag
Celine Glasses
Mules

I just added a few more pieces to my daily uniform and couldn’t be happier.

A daily uniform is such a necessity. I love having a few core staples that I can always go to and feel comfortable in. It’s such a bonus when these pieces are beautiful and well made. Over the last couple of years I have fallen in love with Jenni Kayne. Her mules have been shoes that I’ve always wanted as staples in my wardrobe — and this year I finally took the plunge! They are such great everyday shoes, I love how versatile and simple they are - I easily can pair them with almost anything in my closet. If you’re looking to invest in a pair, I highly recommend it!

For a few months now I’ve been looking for a pair of wide leg crops - and I finally found them! These have become a new weekly favorite lately. I have them in black and bone, and love them both! They’re super cute dressed up with a nice blouse, or casual with a simple tee.

I rotate my key staples every season, however what I’ve learned over the last few years is that daily staple pieces need to be high quality. If you gravitate towards a certain cut, fabric or material - look for investment pieces that you can really wear everyday. So while I love a good look for less find, they tend to wear quicker and lose their luster much faster than the real deal. I love Everlane for their quality and amazing fabrics for daily sweaters and tops. For bottoms, I really do trust Everlane denim, and Madewell. I love their fit and know that it works for my body. However I’m really looking to invest in a few new brands this season — I’ll do a post on this soon!

P.S. How amazing is this Simon Miller bag?! I am seriously in love with it and have worn it out almost every single occasion since purchasing it.
