A Solstice Inspo Sesh
Happy Summer Solstice!
As the official first day of summer–I thought it would be fitting to have a good old fashioned inspiration session! My friend Katie and I decided to have a mini park day this morning and it was honestly so fun. My favorite part of Instagram is getting to meet likeminded creators and inspire one another. And sometimes, they become amazing friendships–which I’m eternally grateful for.
Katie and I got together in the mid-June sunshine to chat all things content, creation and inspiration. It was honestly such a fruitful convo–and it left me feeling so inspired. Katie is so down to earth and lovely–it makes opening up to her about creatives struggles so easy. (Ps, if you haven’t followed her yet on IG –you need to! She dishes weekly inspo, and her apartment is a dream!)
While chatting, we plotted our next gals inspo sesh–this time over dinner! Can’t wait for that one–I think we’ll share a few recipes that come out of it and a few snaps.
If you’re feeling a little creatively low–I highly recommend grabbing a coffee or even simply chatting with a fellow creative. It can sometimes be daunting, but its SO incredibly worth it. Katie and I put our heads together on a few fun ideas for an inspo session–should you want to recreate for yourself (either with friends or solo)!
Summer Inspo Session Ideas
Grab a glass of wine at a fun wine bar you’ve been wanting to try
Head to the cafe early and grab a to-go coffee and pastry, followed by a long walk through the park
Bring your notebook outside and let the inspo come to you
Try a sit-down lunch cafe instead of lunching at your desk–even solo this experience is one of my favorites
Meander through a farmers market–I always come away from these so relaxed and humming with creative ideas for recipes
Walk though a garden nursery–seriously just trust me on this one, the vibes are immaculate and you’ll leave feeling like you just got a energy boost
Treat yourself to a home cooked meal al fresco with a few friends–ask everyone to bring a dish that is a different color, or a different texture (assign these ahead of time, its so fun!)
