Feeling thankful.
Life has a tendency to take on new meanings over time - as things change, routines shift, and as we grow. Lately I can’t help but feel so incredibly thankful for everything in my life. It feels so incredibly full and brimming with purpose.
This month I’m focusing on being more focused (ha). Humor me - but I think we all have a little weakness in this area. I for one am known for taking on too much at one time, lacking a clear focus or goal, and not accomplishing anything because I feel too overwhelmed.
The first thing I’m focusing on is nutrition. I’m so inspired by creating recipes and cooking in general but I haven’t invested time to practice or recipe test. I’d like to set a goal of cooking more during the week (and weekends) - and limit ordering out to only one day a week. I’m researching a spring salad and can’t wait to share it this weekend!
Nutrition means so many things to me. It often impacts how I feel and perform in so many other aspects of my life as well. Eating well, balancing work and life, moving my body, resting, taking care of myself - these things all fall into the nutrition camp for me. I’m trying to share more of what this looks like at a daily glimpse as well. Small details, snaps of what I’m cooking, how I’m moving my body that day, are all meant to inspire others but also help to keep me accountable. So if you see a bit more posting on social - hopefully it resonates with you, inspires you, and gets you motivated to focus on something that is healing to you. We’re so lucky to have these beautiful lives - we should care for them as best we can.
