Bedroom Details

The design goal for our bedroom has always been to create a calming haven. I’m a lover of neutral, minimal bedroom spaces with touches of eclectic charm.

Having a plush bed was always a must. I fell in love with Maiden Home this past year and was immediately drawn to our bed! It’s the perfect plush meets modern silhouette. I love that its flush with the floor–something that I really appreciate because if my bed is lifted, I end up shoving a ton of crap under it–which just isn’t the vibe!

Finding the right mattress/pillow/sheet situation was key. I wanted our bed to feel luxe, and like a hotel bed. After much hunting with all the major brands, we finally went with Saatva. The wait time was SO long for our mattress which was the only downside. I credit the pandemic and supply chain issues for this–so I’m not holding it against Saatva. The mattress is everything I’ve ever dreamed of, and is seriously so worth the investment. I like a semi-plush/soft bed versus a hard mattress. Also, I hate memory foam and ours is the perfect mix of hybrid innerspring.

When Cozy Earth reached out asking if I wanted to try their bamboo sheet and duvet set, it was the literal perfect timing. I had just purchased the Parachute Home linen set and didn’t love it–it felt scratchy and stiff so I was on the hunt for something softer and plusher. Insert the bamboo set from Cozy Earth! They’re a literal dream, so luscious, and don’t make us get too hot or cold during the night. They seriously feel like a silk cloud!

I was lucky enough to be gifted this rug from PB Kids–which is so funny but it totally works as a bedroom rug because it has that extra-soft layer!

We adore our nightstands–they are the “statement” piece of the space. I love their curve and linen material so much, its such a unique feature that I think will evolve with our style really well.

My bedside table lamp is actually from Amazon! It was such a great find by Safavieh.

Our curtains are such a great steal from Target–I love them! I have them in the ‘sour cream’ color.

I sourced this little sefuno stool from Etsy–there are so many gems out there that bring the perfect “organic modern” touch to any space.
