Art of the Console

I finally found the perfect console.

Console tables can be tricky. Depending on your style and space, it can be tough to find the perfect match. I’ve been searching for a while for a console that would fit behind our sofa.

I kept going down rabbit holes of consoles that were either too high, too modern or simply too expensive. I knew I wanted an organic material, such as either stone of wood for this specific piece as well. I found the Beale Console, and fell in love at first sight! It comes in a natural color as well which I’m equally obsessed with. Slightly rustic and classic in its design, this will be a piece that transcends in styles over the years.

I’m most excited for the possibilities of styling this piece more than any other. Adding a console behind a sofa is such a fun way to add a little variety to your space. Instead of hanging something above a sofa such as wall art, a console offers a surface to rest things on. Lean a wall mirror, piece of art, some of your favorite decorative pieces and maybe a table lamp and you’ve got the makings for a great little vignette. This area can also be refreshed seasonally, or more often if you prefer! I’m excited to add fresh flowers weekly, change up the art every so often and add my favorite candles and books to make it feel extra comfortable and cozy.

Here are a few other consoles I’m loving

I’ve been pinning styling console inspiration lately and thought I’d share to spread the love, enjoy!
