Le Petite Party
Tis the season of merry making.
The weekends in December seem to just fly by, as almost every single one has a glittering social engagement. Holiday parties, office parties, girls nights, cookie swaps, and tree lightings are all on the docket for me this time of year. While I love love love this festive time, it always seems to fly by in the blink of an eye.
This year, I’m making a point to enjoy the quiet moments before the storm. I love getting to have an hour or so before I’m scheduled to be somewhere (and before I have to put my shoes on to leave) to open a bottle of wine and soak in the beautiful details of the season.
This Saturday was our office holiday party and before we jetted off, we sat back and sipped rosé under the twinkle lights. I lit a few candles, and we chatted about how incredibly thankful we feel for our accomplishments and memories from this year. I’m excited to keep making these little “traditions” - however small they might seem. They remind me that its incredibly important to savor every fleeting moment of our day-to-day.
I also stumbled upon this skirt and couldn’t pass it up. I’m in love with the texture and simple “jazz” that it brings to any outfit. Its the perfect skirt that can be super easily dressed up or down depending on your fancy. This season I seem to be really drawn to minimal animal prints and bold graphic statement pieces, hello cute red earrings!
Happy merry making to you and yours!
