Living Room Accent Chairs

You can never have too many funky chairs.

They add such a fun pop – and statement – to any area. I love the idea of collecting accent chairs for odd corners of my home. I’m so drawn to darker woods these days, particularly in accent pieces. I love a dark pop of contrast at a smaller scale. Currently, in our living room I’m looking to replace our big white chair. I love it, but sadly it’s just too large for the space and feels disproportionate to other pieces of foundational furniture like the sofa and desk. I need something slightly smaller–that has a bit more umph.

These are a few that I’ve had my eye on and love! Of course, I am probably going to veer away from anything white, as I’m going for something with a bit more contrast. I love the idea of this chair, and have been lusting after it for years now. But I also love this piece because its curvature would repeat that of the curved desk already in the space. The decision is a tough one!
