Our First Piece of Art

I am so indecisive when it comes to art. I love choosing pieces for others, but when it comes to my own home I have such a particular bone about it. I adore art, and studied art history–and yet I somehow haven’t find the right pieces that have spoken to me. Until now!

I found Cassidy on IG last year and fell in love with her interior style. Shortly after discovering her, I learned she is a very talented artist creating the most beautiful organic-inspired pieces of art. Her style ranges, yet I fell in love with her checkered series, which she refers to as Harlequin.

After the piece arrived I fell even more in love with it solely because of the quality! It’s so special to hold a piece of someone’s art in your hands, you can tell the love, adoration and pure craft that has gone into making it. I love that I have a piece in our home that represents those things, and from such a talented and beautiful artist.
