Loving Lately 03
Ah the Friday before Labor Day weekend! What a blissful day. The long weekend awaits, the weather is usually perfect–what more could we ask for?
I’m excited to get back into sharing these! I love curating lists of weekly products that I’m loving. “Loving Lately” is meant to provide you with a handful of products I’ve found or loved recently. Usually seasonal, and varying across food, interiors, and style (maybe sometimes beauty too).
This week, I picked up Frances Mayes’ new book A Place In The World and I cannot wait to crack it open in the sunshine this weekend! Under The Tuscan Sun is one of my favorite books and movies of all time and I adore Frances and her story. I can’t wait to learn more about how she translates the idea of home to her work and travel!
A couple of weeks ago I was putting my bridesmaids gift boxes together (more on this later) and Santa Maria Novella also sent along a little sample of their latest perfume and I immediately fell in love. Its the perfect blend of earthy floral and I am LOVING it for fall. Their description notes, “The most elegant raw material among poudré ingredients, it is combined with bright top notes such as neroli, timur pepper and galbanum, and proceeds in a flowery heart made by geranium, jasmine sambach and magnolia champaca. Finally, it arrives at the base, where a classic florentine origin iris unveils Florence itself through a balanced olfactory discovery.” How lovely is that?
As I was curating my Labor Day sales post, I stumbled upon these napkins and I now am obsessed. I love their purple pop and I feel like these will be perfect for later fall and even early spring!
And finally, as we all know from last fall the quilt coat is back! I love a good quilt-block coat–they remind me of a chic Nordic gal strutting the streets of Copenhagen on her way to coffee with friends. I love the price-point of this one too!
Okay one last bit–I added this amazing bag to my collection last year and it was the single-handed most-used, favorited and asked about bag. It truly holds it all, has an amazing structure and is actually a great price for a “designer” bag. If you’re looking for a fall/winter tote that will translate well into all the other seasons, this one is it. 10/10 love! Also linking their new version with a lighter color down below.
