The Lust List: Jenni Kayne Favorites

If I had to chose a favorite element about Jenni Kayne’s style and overall direction it would have to be their ability to take everyday neutral basics to an elevated level.

I love a good neutral anything–shoes, cardigans, candles, shirts, what have you. They’re a staple both in my home and in my wardrobe. I feel most comfortable in everyday basics that can last forever, and transcend styles.

For a long time, I’ve lusted after so many pieces from Jenny Kayne. My first purchase was these mule slides which I promptly wore everyday thereafter. They were an investment piece that have easily earned their price tag due to how often I throw them on. They go with practically anything and are so incredibly comfortable. Their quality is definitely built to last, too. You’re getting what you pay for–which made a great selling point for me. It’s not everyday (or every month!) that I can treat myself to $400 shoes, however when I can–these slides are always on my hit list. Small side note: I grew up in a shoe business family–so I know a good quality shoe when I see one and these are it.

My next endeavor will be slowly incorporating more pieces into my wardrobe. I love all of their sweaters, however this one in particular is a favorite–I love that it ties!

For two summers now I’ve swooned over these sandals–perhaps it’s time to take the plunge.

And finally, who doesn’t love a little shearling? Obsessed with these mules and of course their house slippers.
