The essential coat is one that can transcend trends and go with practically anything.
I love it when it gets a bit chillier than normal here in SF. We never really get too cold of temps here, however lately it’s been a bit colder than usual. I think there is something so special about throwing on an oversized coat and having it go with practically anything.
It’s essential to have a few gems in your coat collection. Just because it’s freezing outside doesn’t mean that your outfit has to suffer. Making a statement with a coat is one of my favorite ways to spice up my winter wardrobe. One of the most important things I look for when coat hunting is quality. A good quality coat will last you a lifetime, so be sure to shop with a critical eye.
Lately I’ve been loving the oversized look - it’s so relaxed but still allows any look to feel polished. I’ve been eyeing this coat for a few weeks now… its such a luscious design! Speaking of oversized, there seems to be a slight split of styles currently out there: either oversized or belted. I’m partial to oversized, as they tend to allow for roomier sweaters underneath. However, a good belted coat can be super flattering.
Either way, there are sooo many good options out there right now!
