Fall Home Edit

Something about a crisp in the air makes me turn inward. I love spending long fall Sundays curled up on the sofa with a cozy quilt, bundled and warm.

Each Fall, I find myself really valuing the nature of our home. I love that it’s cozy and casual, yet soaked in natural light via our bay window. I love our small, rental apartment kitchen adorned with vintage pieces. There is something so charming about fall. It inspires me to value what I have, take care of it, and cherish my immediate surroundings. I’m ever grateful for the four walls we get to call home–and I love making new memories curled around a cozy candle, good book and delish bottle of wine as soon as the colder months arrive.

Every year, I add one or two meaningful and intentional pieces to our home that feel like investments. I know I’ll love them for years to come, and they’ll be around for generations. This year, I’m less focused on my home–as we’re planning for our wedding in early Spring ‘23, but I am still obsessed with curating lists and looks of pieces I have my eyes on for the future.

This Fall, I’m obsessed with Italian splatterware, cozy quilts, layered trays, and hurricane candle holders. I love the glow that a hurricane adds to a room–its so divine.

At the top of my list as soon as fall rolls around is replenishing my candle collection. I always splurge a bit in Fall and Spring on candles to help mark the turn of the seasons. There’s something so welcoming about a fresh candle, burning long into the crisp fall evenings.

I also tend to get into the kitchen even more in the Fall. I love making veggie soups and baking with seasonal flavors. For that reason, I’ll usually opt for a new baking (or serving) dish or two.

Also a favorite Fall ritual around here–wine nights. I’m obsessed with these glasses! They make me feel like I’m in the hills of Tuscany with their unique shape and style. So fun.
